West Ham

West Ham United Football Club is a football team based in Upton Park, Newham in East London. It was founded in 1895 and was originally known as Thames Ironworks F.C. The current name of West Ham United F.C. became known since 1900. Earlier, the club played in the Southern League and Western League. It joined the full Football League in 1919. Currently, they are playing in the English Premier League. West Ham United Football Club has won the FA Cup three times. They have also won the Intertoto Cup, War Cup and for the first time in 26 years, they sailed through to the FA Cup Final in 2006. The club is managed by the current manager, Alan Curbishley.
