Bournemouth

Bournemouth, situated on the south coast of England, is a large town that is generally considered as a tourist resort. It has a population of 164,000 and is a regional centre of education and business and part of the South East Dorset conurbation. The town is popular for the Bournemouth University, Bournemouth International Centre as well as the home of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Originally a part of Hampshire, Bournemouth became a part of the non-metropolitan county of Dorset on 1st of April, 1974.
