Razorlight

Razorlight is a popular English band that plays the genre of Indie rock and Post Punk. The band was formed by Johnny Borrell, a singer-songwriter, in 2002. Other band members include Bjorn ≈gren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows. The band released their first album, Up All Night, on June 28, 2004. The music of the band was well received by the audience. This album reached the number 3 position on the UK album charts. Due to their increasing popularity, they performed on ’Top Of The Pops’ and played in front of Buckingham Palace. Razorlight also performed at the Olympic Torch Parade in London.

Razorlight played to a packed audience at London’s Alexandra Palace. The band performed in the Live 8 series of concerts in July 2005, at Hyde Park, London. They released their second album called ’Razorlight’ on 17 July, 2006 in United Kingdom. This album was number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The song ’In the Morning’ was released as a single on July 3, 2006. It reached the number 3 position on the UK Singles Chart. Apart from ’In the Morning’, other popular singles by Razorlight include ’America’ and ’Somewhere Else’.
