Care Bears

The care bears are a bunch of fluffy and cuddly bear-like creatures and are designed to impart feelings of care in everyone. Each care bear is responsible for a distinct caring mission that is displayed on the image on its stomach. The entire care bear family lives in an exotic place in the clouds called, Care-a-lot. The stories associated with these characters are varied and cover a wide range of situations with one common trend ñ caring for the universe and everything within. Some anecdotes involve a woebegone child being taken to the care bear residence for enlightenment of divine values and the occasional ventures of the care bears themselves to earth in times of dire crises.

Care bear soft toys are an ideal gift for a loved one and also help to brighten any kid’s room. Alongside books, comics and music recordings based on care bear themes, there are a number of video games and toys also being marketed. Launched in 2001, the first care bear video game was called ’Care bears volleyball’. This game involved two players playing a game of volleyball, followed in 2004 with the first PC games ’Care-a-lot jamboree’ and ’Let’s have a ball’. In 2005, the ’Catch a star’ and ’Care bears care quest’ games were released into the market. An offering for the V. Smile educational console, ’Care bears: A lesson in caring’, was launched a little later.

Care bears collectors are known to collect almost all the care bears soft toys. The whole lot of the soft toys can be grouped up together in a showcase or heaped up on the window sill of the kid’s room giving an impression of stylish disarray.
