Lazytown

LazyTown is a popular children’s programme that has aired in more than 100 countries and in 12 languages. The series was created by Icelandic gymnast, Magnus Scheving in 2004. LazyTown cast includes Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Stefansson and Julianna Rose Mauriello. A total of 52 episodes have been shot and aired till date. The series features lazy residents of LazyTown who just eat junk food and play video games. This series revolves around Stephanie who encourages her friends to go out and play games. Her uncle takes the help of Sportacus to inspire and encourage the kids to be active and enthusiastic. However, Robbie Rottenm, a lazy resident does not like this and he tries to stop Sportacus and the kids from having fun.

Due to the phenomenal success of the series, LazyTown merchandise is also available for the fans. DVDs of LazyTown and soundtrack of the series is popular too. Other merchandise like t-shirts, costumes, colouring books, posters, puzzles, bags, activity mats and bedding are also available. Fisher Price has created action figures based on the characters in the series. LazyTown Stephanie and Sportacus action figures are sought after by children. Apart from action figures, LazyTown plush dolls are also popular. A special LazyTown memory game is also available for kids to enjoy. Special LazyTown playsets based on the characters featuring various accessories being in equal demand.
