WWE ringWWE, or the World Wrestling Entertainment, is a professional wrestling body that conducts some of the most spectacular wrestling events in the world. Liked by both the young and the old, these matches are much more than just fighting. With storylines built into the series of tournaments and wrestlers being categorized as villains or heroes, the concept has caught on in recent times with miniature action figures of the participants, video games, television telecasts and even music videos being sold across several countries. The wrestlers have become household names especially among young children and teenagers. Most of the WWE action takes place in the legendary ring where the gory bouts take place. Rivalries are resolved the hard way in this no-escape arena. Very often the fights spill out of the ropes onto the area around the ring. The floor of the WWE ring has a softer surface from which fallen players can bounce back into the fray without any injuries. Resembling a boxing ring, the WWE ring is square, the perimeter being protected by three extremely strong and resilient ropes. Often the ropes have some elasticity and act as catapults sending the wrestler flying into his opponent. Since the ring is higher than ground level, there is a lot of storage space beneath the ring’s floor. The WWE rings come in different sizes depending on customer preferences and space constraints. Sometimes the ring can be shipped with action figures of the more famous wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and Rob Van Dam. The ring can provide the wrestling enthusiast with hours of entertainment and is also a collector’s item for the die hard WWE fanatic. |
