FaultyGaming consoles provide a dedicated source of playing video games. Unlike games that are played on personal computers, gaming consoles are equipped with powerful graphic processors that aid in bringing true-to-life game realism. Some of the most popular gaming consoles of all times include the Atari, Nintendo and SEGA series of 8-bit and 16-bit gaming consoles launched during the 1980s and 1990s. The new generation gaming consoles comprise the Microsoft Xbox, the Sony PlayStation and the Nintendo Wii. Faulty gaming consoles can hinder the fun, especially when the gamer is almost at the climax stage of the game. Sometimes the DVD does not work, or a fault develops in the graphic card, or the ROM makes some sort of scratching sound when the disc is spinning. When such instances occur, many people often dump the consoles or sell them off at auction sites. Now, the obvious question is who is going to buy a faulty console. Well, the answer is someone who himself or herself has a non-working console and needs to replace the faulty parts with the good, working components of the secondhand console they buy. Some people also remove the hard drive and sell it separately to recover some of the money that they had paid to buy the full gaming machine. Products that turn out to be faulty within the warranty period are generally replaced at the discretion of the original manufacturer. However, the buyer is wholly responsible for the shipping charges in such cases. |
