Football Manager 2007

Popular video game manufacturer, SEGA, launched the widely acclaimed, latest edition, Football Manager 2007, on October 18, 2006. This is the latest sequel to the existing line up of Football Manager series from Sports Interactive, a popular video game publisher. This edition is released for various gaming platforms including the PC, Apple-Intel Mac as well as the PowerPC Macs and Xbox 360. The game boasts over 100 new updates, features and improvements as a part of the seasonal update from Football Manager 2006.

The game features a very easy-to-use, intuitive interface for managing the various football/soccer teams around the world. The inbuilt scouting engine scans for rising star performers from across the globe from numerous schools, colleges and even soccer associations. The engine additionally allows the selected scouts to learn from their experience. This means, if the selected player has learnt tricks or improved in his game performance, the game will instantly update the details so as to allow the player perform better inside the virtual game field. The game features a new addition ñ Scout Report Card. This allows easier access to important details and information when the game is scouting for targets online.

Any player can also add his/her own comments on a selected player from around the world with respect to his performance or qualities. This helps the gamer to mark or tag favourite players according to his/her preferences. The game also allows the player to conduct pre-match team talks. The highly refined AI or Artificial Intelligence of the game enables the onscreen characters (team players) to suggest or acquire coaches, physios, or even players preferred by them when asked.
