Super Mario

Mario is an iconic video game character, which was the brainchild of Shigeru Miyamoto, a Japanese games designer. This video game character has featured in several video games and has become the mascot of Nintendo. The Mario character was earlier depicted by two-dimensional sprites but nowadays he is shown as a three-dimensional, polygonal model. Mario and Luigi, his brother, often appear together as the Mario Brothers or the Super Mario Brothers in videogames, comic books and in the film ’Super Mario Bros.’

Mario is often depicted to be a chubby Italian plumber who is slightly above five feet in height. He dwells in Mushroom Kingdom and offers brave resistance to the evil designs of King Bowser. Mario is full of enthusiasm and zeal when facing his enemies. The games where Mario or the super Mario brothers feature in are usually full of exciting game play and excellent graphics.

The Mario series of videogames has earned considerable success over the years. Some of the famous games featuring super Mario include Super Mario Bros.
