Getting just about anything at cheap prices is what garage and car boot sales are all about. Referred to as ’bulk’ due to the large array of items available at these sales, these ventures benefit both the seller and the buyer. While the buyer is assured of a good bargain, the seller is able to get rid of an unwanted item at a price that may not have been possible elsewhere. These bulk sales were originally held in public places before the invention of the Internet and have now moved online.

You just never know what you may find at a bulk sale. From old household furniture to gardening tools to vehicle maintenance accessories, the stuff available at these sites is truly mind-boggling. Even though most of the items sold are in a reasonably good condition, the prices are generally rock-bottom due to these products being used and also because the seller wishes to sell off the items on a priority basis. While most of the items such as jewellery, SIM cards, purses, shoes and watches have functional value, occasionally the prospective buyer may even find items of aesthetic value such as works of art, antique coins and curios.

Occasionally, people often get things they would not otherwise find in conventional stores. Also, visiting these bulk markets either online or offline, results in coming across several new kinds of items.
