FCUK or French Connection Group plc is a famous wholesaler and retailer of fashion clothing. Headquartered in Britain, the company was established in 1969 by Stephen Marks and Roy Naismith. The fcuk name created a huge controversy and publicity on account of its similarity with a four-letter expletive. The brand fully exploited this publicity to it advantage, creating an intensely popular range of t-shirts flashing messages like "fcuk this", "mile high fcuk", "lucky fcuk", "hot as fcuk", "fcuk on the beach", etc. All these publicity campaigns propelled the sales, registering record profits and rapid worldwide expansion during the late 1990s and early 2000s. By the end of 2004, the company decided to withdraw the FCUK campaign as the sales were dropping significantly. Today, FCUK stands out as an example of shock marketing and brand building.

The FCUK label was initially available only in the United Kingdom. However, it has now expanded its territory internationally, including the North American market. It has gained immense popularity in North America and still holds a leading position in the European market.
