PalletA pallet in marketing terminology could refer to a combination of a number of items for sale in a single pack, akin to a large hamper. The contents of the pallet may or may not have related items. Also, the size and shape of the pallets vary greatly. People who opt for pallet wholesale purchases are generally assured of a good bargain. Pallet sales form a common platform for the seller and the buyer. While the buyer is assured of a reasonable price and the availability of a ’not found elsewhere’ product, the seller gets to put up an unwanted item for sale. Sometimes pallet sales are even undertaken by merchandisers to dispose of surplus stock or to rush through ’end of season’ sales. Some pallets are classified according to the products contained. Jewellery pallets would typically include a variety of earrings, trinkets, bangles, necklaces and pendants. Furniture pallets have household furniture such as chairs, tables, bookcases, small cupboards, dressers, armoires, coffee tables, bar stools and night stands. Often, even clothing pallets are marketed containing male and female clothes, both branded as well as unbranded. Body and beauty care pallets include cosmetic and manicuring kits. While some pallets consist of sturdy items that can be transported anywhere, others have fragile contents that need to be handled with care. Such delicate items include crockery, crystal ware as well as ceramic and porcelain products. The general merchandise pallets would have just about any item a family could use, such as mini electronic devices, kitchen accessories, toys, first aid kits, over the counter medicines, school products and gifts. |
